White House vows to sanction Putin (Full show)

Ukraine has begun deploying rocket artillery inside civilian neighborhoods of major cities, the Kremlin claimed on Friday. Meanwhile, the White House says Russian President Vladimir Putin and FM Sergey Lavrov will be sanctioned, along with members of Russia’s national security team. RT senior writer Nebojsa Malic joins to share his insights.

Then RT's Paula Slier reports from London on new sanctions against Russia issued by the UK, "the largest that Russia has ever seen," according to PM Boris Johnson, who says Russian banks will be completely excluded from doing business with the UK.

RT's Donald Courter reports from the scene of reported Ukrainian artillery strikes hitting targets on the Russian side of the countries' border. He also examines the Russian investigation into allegations of "genocide" against Russian-speakers in the Donbass area and those who perpetrated eight years of shelling against civilians in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Then former Pentagon official Michael Maloof, former US diplomat Jim Jatras and independent journalist Ben Norton weigh in.

Plus, RT America's Paxton Boyd discusses the "Freedom Convoy" inspired currently headed for Washington, DC to protest on the National Mall during President Biden's March 1st State of the Union address.
